This is an alteration service for your existing coat. No coat is included with this purchase. It does NOT need to be a WhatTheFluffe coat. :) After ordering, you'll ship your coat to me, I'll complete the upgrade, and send it back!

Whether you're dancing until sunrise, wandering a festival, or just don't feel like carrying your coat over one arm all night, this upgrade lets you wear it like a backpack whenever you want. :)

I'll permanently install four silver 1" D-rings into the back of the neck and side seams of your coat, then create a pair of removable, adjustable backpack straps with swivel clasps that easily clip on and off.

Wear the straps when you need them. Unclip them when you don't. The silver D-rings stay permanently installed and blend seamlessly into your coat while giving you extra attachment points for a carabiner, keys, a water bottle, cup, phone, or other festival essentials.

Is My Coat Compatible?

This upgrade is currently available for lined coats only.

Because every coat is constructed a little differently, I recommend sending me a message before ordering if you're unsure whether your coat will work. Just send a few photos and I'll happily let you know if it's a good candidate!

How It Works

1. Purchase this upgrade.
2. At checkout, please leave a note with the following detail: preferred strap color (black, pink, purple, or blue) + your return shipping address.
3. Ship your clean coat to me (shipping to me is your responsibility). I will send you my shipping address once your order is received.
4. I'll work my magic and ship your upgraded coat back to you!

Turnaround Time

Your coat will be in my possession for up to 2 weeks before being shipped back to you. I'll treat it like one of my own and will return it as quickly as possible!

Shipping & Insurance

• This service is available to U.S. customers only.
• Return shipping is included in the price.
• Return shipments include $500 of insurance.
• If your coat is valued at more than $500, please purchase the Shipping Insurance add-on so your return shipment is fully insured.

A Few Important Notes

• By purchasing this service, you acknowledge that this is a permanent alteration to your coat. While the backpack straps are removable, the silver D-rings remain installed.
• Every coat is handled with the utmost care. In the unlikely event of loss or damage during return shipping, liability is limited to the declared insured value of the return shipment.
• While every precaution is taken during installation, minor variations are a natural part of handmade work.
